E53 X5 3.0 Needs TLC

Purchased from original owner, fellow BMW CCA Member, in 2022 with 154K miles. Added 63K of beach and ski miles with kids since then for a current total of 217K. Runs well and has records going back to original window sticker. Serviced by 3rd Generation of Bavarian mechanics who have long maintained our E30s. The opportunity to buy their personal E70 X5 just came up so offering this charming E53 back to the Club membership.

Cold weather package--heated seats front/back, heated steering wheel and ski bag. Receiver for trailer hitch. Runs on V-Spoke Style 130 wheels and comes with a matching second set of same mounted with snow tires. Cargo space sunshade.

Offered as a running project due to age and multiple needs. Among the latter: two passenger doors do not open from outside; front passenger window is unreliable; throwing a 4WD warning light.

NYS safety inspection valid through 12/2026. Exterior dents and dings, trim issues, interior in good shape.

Solid, drives like a higher up E39--prefer it in many ways to the later X5 but can't keep both. Hoping to find a new home that can give it the simple TLC it needs or make it the basis for an interesting build. Touch base for more pics and details.
