The battery on the 1999 M Roadster died and now the radio asks for a code. It's a BMW Business CD. Any Ideas how I get the code? It appears the radio may need to come out to get a serial number. Any ideas where to take it or how to fix it? Thanks
The dealer has the codes - easiest thing to do would probably be stop into the dealer who, I presume, should be able to pull the radio in short order, get the serial number, and enter to code to get it back online. If you're the original owner, I think (maybe) something might have been provided originally w/ the radio code (but also, maybe not - check your owner's manual packet, assuming you have that).
