Porsche?

As I have it, the lead DP had a Porsche engine that was rebuilt by the team and subsequently was not endorsed by Porsche themselves. The BMW DP's came in behind a complete privatier team then, right? Pretty interesting. What additional information do we have on this, I'd like to know. Thx >>>>
