2006 BMW X3 for sale

This car was my Dad's and then my son's in college. It needs work, so if you are a do it yourselfer or want a parts cars, then this would be great. My mechanic told me a 2 years ago it would cost $3000 to fix, I wasn't interested in putting the money into it. It needs struts and the drive shaft is loose. Scrap value is almost a $1000, but I thought someone with some love could make this a great car. I replaced the engine while my son had it, and the interior is in good condition. You will need to tow it, as it has sat since I bought my son a Jeep. I want it to go to someone and be of use, I would hate to scrap a car in such good condition, but my wife wants it gone.
