335is 6-speed, Single Family Owned

BMW Sales listing For sale is my 2011 335is 6-speed Coupe. It comes in a very classy Space Grey Metallic over Tobacco Brown leather interior. Unmodified. Single family owned since new. Dealer and specialist serviced since new. I have all paper receipts since new. Garage kept since new. California kept since new. For the uninitiated, the 335is is a North America only spec of the e92 LCI 335i. Some notable difference are: - N54 engine (not the N55). 320hp and 332 lb-ft of torque - Overboost function that produces a “temporary peak torque of 370 lb-ft” - Additional factory radiator - M-Sport exhaust (much louder than 335i) - Exclusive style 313 wheels (18 inch on this car) - Different 6-speed gear ratio - Sport suspension - M-Sport front/rear bumpers and side skirts - Gloss black plastic trim - Fog light delete, adds additional cooling vents Options: - Sunroof - 18 inch style 313 wheels - iDrive delete - 6-speed - Tobacco Brown leather interior. This car currently has 130k miles, but you wouldn’t know it from appearances. The metallic paint finish is still great, and the leather interior has been periodically conditioned and is in great condition, minus some minor wear on the driver’s seat bolster seam. The factory M-sport exhaust is fairly loud (always has been) in these 335is models. Cold starts are raucous, and off-throttle overrevs produce natural burbles at any speed. Rowing through the gears on a freeway on-ramp sounds amazing. The M-Sport bumper/diffuser/side skirts, combined with the gloss black plastic trim give this car a subtly aggressive look. The lighting package consists of Xenon headlights and LED’s everywhere else, giving the car a very modern look. Recent Maintenance at BMW Carlsbad (formerly BMW Encinitas): - 127k: New spark plugs, oil and filter change, new air filter, new brake fluid - 114k: Replaced leaky expansion tank hose - 107k: New tires (Michelin PS4) - 102k: New windshield, replaced all degraded rubber window moldings (front, rear), new brake fluid While the bones of this car are in very good condition, this car needs the following issues addressed before it can truly be the ultimate daily: - Low boost 30FF code needs to be addressed. It only appears under high engine load at low RPM’s. I’ve been babying the engine ever since it appeared. - Small oil leak from the valve cover. A little oil was found in the spark plug well when the plugs were changed 7k miles ago. - Small oil leak (negligible) from the oil pan - The springs and shocks need a refresh. Other notable wear and tear - Dent in the rear right quarter panel - Curb rash on the wheels - This car has been lightly rear ended and front-ended in traffic. Both bumpers and crash bars have been replaced under premium insurance. There is absolutely no structural or drivetrain damage whatsoever. The silver lining is that the front bumper is less than 5k miles old and looks brand new. The front bumper was installed and painted at Ability Auto Body in San Diego. - The clutch pedal aluminum trim fell off, it will be included with the car. - The passenger side aluminum-look trim had an issue where the fasteners kept falling out and detaching. It is now fastened with self-tapping screws and covered with decorative screw caps - Intermittent trunk rattle on very specific bumps. - One of the small rubber air dams is detached, it will be included with the car. - The deployable rear-window sunshade cannot open or close by itself. The motor runs, but it sounds like a plastic gear is slipping. I’m selling this car to prepare for having a family and moving to the Midwest. I hope another owner will cherish it as have my father and I. If the above issues are addressed, it will be a very, very fun daily driver.
