Description
Genuine 318ti Club Sport with just over 144k miles. Southern call all its life (SC & NC). I've owned this car since 2016 and have refreshed all the important parts along the way. Its original m42 engine still runs well; no body rust. Many more current photos in this Google Photo album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/Xyadn9SZbxm3FehR6
Maintenance & repair highlights include:
144k: oil filter housing gasket, new drive belt
143k: AC receiver dryer, expansion valve
141k: new battery
140k: coolant system overhaul including replacing heater hose and radiator
140k: rear shocks (Bilstein B4); rear sway bar links; valve cover gasket
139k: spark plugs
138k: front struts (Bilstein B4 Sport)
Also have a spreadsheet and records going back to 2009 @82k miles
Good:
Runs and drives well, a blast to drive!
The most expensive maintenance bits have been done under my ownership.
One of the few surviving Club Sports.
Includes the ultra-rare 318ti-specific BMW roof rack.
Euro ZKW headlights; Euro taillights (will include originals).
Fog lights covered with Lamin-x film and can peel off if yellow isn’t your thing.
Also comes with the original wheels (sits on Z3 wheels).
Have more bits too including the Bentley manual, a complete brake pad & rotor set, the OBD1 scanner, and other miscellaneous pieces that will go along with it.
Except for the above, this car is all original. Even have the factory head unit that will go with it.
Not so good:
Headliner is starting to sag at the back and on the sunroof.
Paint has rock chips, small scratches, and some small clear coat failure spots.
Front seats are worn but fully usable.
Original windshield is pitted from 31 years of service.
Airbag light stays on first minute or so after startup; believe it's a passenger seat sensor.
If you look at it in just the right light, you’ll see slight hail damage.
This car looks amazing 10 ft away; it’s not a museum piece.
Reverse light is finicky; it sometime works.
I’d love to keep it, but garage and driveway space is at a premium. $6500 OBO located in Raleigh, NC
