Description

I purchased this BMW 330CI in October of 2020 from a private seller located in Boston, MA and drove it across the country back to Milwaukee, WI. In my ownership I have added 13,000 miles. Engine and transmission have been solid, with no known leaks or any grinding or slipping with the transmission. Heat, AC, and heated seats all work wonderfully. No underbody rust. Convertible top is original and operates with no issues.

Recent maintenance:
87,800 miles – Driver-side door lock actuator
87,500 miles – New windshield wipers
85,700 miles – New tires (Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4) & alignment (August 2024)
85,500 miles - Oil and filter change (Liqui Moly 5W40 & Mann filter)
85,500 miles – Transmission fluid flush (Red Line)
79,900 – Front suspension (struts, mounts, links, etc)

Upgrades:
-Avin Avant 4 navigation system – This is an Android based touchscreen system designed to look like the original optional BMW navigation but with modern touches. Features GPS, Bluetooth, Wifi, and more, this system is customizable, can download apps from the Google play store, and has full internet access. Includes original packaging and documentation, screen protectors, and upgraded RAM and equalizer chipset. Installed genuine BMW bezel when relocating the HVAC controls for OEM fitment. Unit was purchased and installed in 2021.
-Steering wheel refreshed with leather wrap, BMW M color stitching, and refreshed plastic trim for a clean, new appearance. Completed in 2024.
-Racemark Mat-Loc floor mat anchors
-Glove box lock removed (common fail item that can lock you out of the glovebox)

Known issues:
-Chip in windshield – professionally filled by Safelite in 2020
-Interior trunk release button stopped working this summer. I disassembled the interior, tested the button, inspected wiring in the footwell and throughout the trunk, and could not determine the issue. Release buttons on exterior of trunk and on key fob operate as normal, as does mechanical key release on back of trunk.
-Driver and passenger mirrors are non-adjustable. While replacing the door lock actuator I found the mirror cable wires were pulled out of the connector that goes to the control switch (the pins are too small for me to remove and re-crimp). Mirrors are perfectly positioned for my 6’ height to see out of, and are manually adjustable if needed. The passenger mirror operates as normal by going downwards when going into reverse.
-Small paint chips, dings, and wear as expected for a 20+ year old vehicle.
