I've owned a '00 MRoadster since 2003 that yesterday exhibited two warning lights I've never seen stay on after starting the car. The lights were the ABS and ASC (traction control) lights. I noticed them a couple of hundred yards out of the driveway. I returned to the garage, shut the car down and then re-started the car. The lights remained on, but then this morning they were not on. Any idea what the issue may be and how critical I need to treat it?
It's probably an ABS problem. When the ABS fails, it takes the Traction control system down also. It could something as simple as a sensor, but it would need to be scanned to know for sure.
