PRICE DROP The Good -In early 2022, the car was sent to Bill Arnold independent BMW shop near San Francisco for him to inspect and do whatever the car needs. Arnold replaced the rear trailing arm and shock bushings and performed other miscellaneous deferred maintenance. New Michelin Pilot 4S tires—chosen to replicate the original grip characteristics—were installed and the suspension was aligned. Some $3000 total spent on parts and labor. -Car has covered about 1500 miles in two years and has mostly lived under the included cover in storage. It’s not being used, which is why it is regrettably for sale. -A/C blows cold. -Everything works. Body feels solid. -Zero interior sun damage. No cracks in the dash or worn buttons. It’s an amazing time capsule. -Car includes the original cassette player and remote CD player. -Original spare tire and wheel remain. -Includes a car cover, window sticker and lots of receipts. The Not so Good -Numerous paint chips on the nose. -Other blemishes and scratches shown -Some road rash on two wheels (see photos) CarFax reports damage in 1999. It’s unclear what this means. The left front fender appears to have been repainted and that is the only accident evidence I can see. There are no wrinkles in the engine bay or trunk or underside (see photos) The Bottom Line This is a remarkably well preserved driver-quality M3, with a pristine interior.
