2011 E90 M3 ZCP 6MT - 74k mi, RB/TA done, rare 6-speed manual Competition sedan

Description
I have 150+ photos I can share — please reach out if interested, and I can send you the link. 2011 BMW M3 Sedan (E90) WBSPM9C51BE202567 74k miles 4.0L S65B40 V8 / 6-speed manual Jerez Black Metallic paint over Fox Red Novillo leather Highlights: Rare 6MT ZCP sedan, rod bearings and throttle actuators replaced, well-optioned Location: Fort Lee, NJ 07605 I'm selling my 2011 E90 M3, equipped with the desirable Competition Package (ZCP) and 6-speed manual. 2011 was the final year for the E90 M3, and also the only year that the Competition Package was offered in North America. Options: - Competition Package: 19" Style 359M wheels, -10mm ride height, retuned Electronic Damping Control (EDC) and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) - Park Distance Control: Rear parking sensors - Other notes: Comfort Access, heated front seats, split-folding rear seats, headlight washers, Harman/Kardon audio, sunroof, no iDrive "single-hump" dash Only 344 manual E90 M3 ZCPs were delivered to North America. Some more production numbers: - 1 of 3,135 E90 M3 6MT in North America - 1 of 1,055 E90 M3 6MT in NA + LCI (facelift) - 1 of 344 E90 M3 6MT in NA + ZCP - 1 of 55 E90 M3 6MT in NA + ZCP + Jerez Black paint - 1 of 7 E90 M3 6MT in NA + ZCP + Jerez Black + Fox Red leather I searched for a manual ZCP on and off for many years before finally being able to buy this one. Unfortunately, I am now looking to find this one a new home as I've accumulated too many cars and am planning to move into the city in the near future. History: This M3 was originally delivered to BMW London in Ontario, Canada in May 2010. The first owner drove it for 3 years and 25k miles until April 2013, when the previous owner purchased the car through Town + Country BMW (now BMW Markham) in Markham, ON. He owned it for 11 years until early 2024, when he sold it to me with 71k miles. This is actually one of the 9 Canadian manual E90 ZCPs, and of those 9, the only one in Jerez Black. The Competition Package was a special-order-only package in Canada and roughly twice the cost of what US buyers paid, hence the rarity. I drove the car home from Toronto and federally imported it myself at the border. I then waited two months for New Jersey to process the paperwork and issue a title. This car is fully legal across the entirety of the United States, and now that it has an NJ title, is no different than a US car to register anywhere — I guarantee it. I'm happy to discuss this further with any prospective buyers, but it's common to import cars from Canada to the US — rest assured that this was done properly. The only blemish on the Carfax report is a vandalism claim that took place in October 2010 under the first owner's stewardship. Carfax shows that the claim was only for $1,240 CAD; given that the cost was this low and the car was new at the time, it was obviously something trivial. The previous owner was not able to shed any light on this, but I think it may have been a front bumper respray. The AutoCheck report shows no accidents or damage. I'm happy to share copies of the Carfax and AutoCheck that I ran recently. Exterior: Jerez Black Metallic is really a very dark blue, and when cleaned up nicely, the metallic shines beautifully. I specifically took the photos in harsh sunlight to show the condition. There are some scuffs under the front bumper and a small indentation in the rear bumper that might come out with some heat, but there are no dings or dents on the car otherwise. As mentioned, I think the front bumper may have been repainted before, but it was done well. All other panels appear to be original. The 19" Style 359M wheels were exclusive to Competition Package cars and were powdercoated recently in the original Hyper Silver finish. They look beautiful, with no real flaws that I can see. Please note that the Dinan muffler seen in photos has since been removed — the car will come with a stock muffler installed. Interior: The Fox Red Novillo leather is in amazing condition for the mileage, retaining the clean, matte finish it's supposed to have. The same is true for the steering wheel and illuminated shift knob, which look and feel basically new. The headliner and wood trim are in great shape as well. I purchased new OEM M3 floor mats that I only installed for the photos; a set of OEM all-weather mats will come in the trunk. I also added rear fog light functionality to the light switch, an RJ11 radar detector hardwire, and Bluetooth audio with an adapter that will be included. I've switched all the measurements in the car to freedom units (mph, Fahrenheit, etc). The speedometer is still in kph, but I have purchased a US-spec cluster from a well-kept, manual-transmission M3 that will be included in the sale. I know a specialist locally who can code it to the car for $200, and will update the ad if I'm able to get it installed prior to the sale. Mechanicals: Both of the infamous problem points of the S65 motor — rod bearings and throttle actuators — have been addressed. The rod bearings were replaced with VAC Motorsports Calico-coated bearings in 2019 at 68k miles. At the same time, the oil pan gasket, motor mounts, spark plugs, transmission fluid, differential fluid, coolant, and cabin air filter were changed. I have paperwork for all of this, and even the old rod bearings in a box. Under my ownership, the throttle actuators were replaced with rebuilt, upgraded Euro Power Motorsports units upon purchase earlier this year at 71k miles. These are rebranded Rebuild Actuators LTD units from the UK — they are the leading throttle actuator rebuilders and offer a lifetime warranty. At the same time, I replaced the valve cover gaskets and timing cover gaskets with Genuine BMW parts, as well as the engine air filter. I also replaced the spark plug tubes and throttle body couplers with upgraded components from NRW-Design. The car just had an oil change with Liqui-Moly 10W60 in preparation for the sale. It runs great and sounds great. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires in good shape are installed. Modifications: - IND paint-matched reflectors: Gives the car a more Euro look on the front bumper. OEM reflectors included. - Clutch delay valve delete: Makes the clutch work like it’s supposed to, especially improving clutch action at low speeds. I have the valve if you want it (you won’t). - Rear fog light mod: A European rear fog light button was installed in the switch, which enabled the functionality. Good for inclement weather (and tailgaters). - Upsized tires: The Pilot Sport 4S tires installed are 255/35ZR19 in front and 275/35ZR19 in the back, which is 10mm wider than stock on both axles. This is a popular upgrade — it gives better grip, fills out the wheelwells better, and these sizes are easier to find. - Stealth turn signal bulbs: OEM BMW bulbs that get rid of the 'egg yolk' look in the headlights. - Bluetooth audio adapter: Sits in the center console and adds Bluetooth audio. - Radar hardwire: Taps into the rearview mirror and uses an RJ11 connector, which is used by Escort, Valentine, and Uniden detectors, and potentially others. Easily hidden or removed. Detector not included. - Black grilles: Not currently installed, but will come in the trunk. - OEM all-weather floor mats: Used, in good shape. - US cluster: Removed from a well-kept, manual-transmission M3 and will accompany the car if I am not able to get it installed before the sale. Asking $43,900 OBO. The car will come with two keys, service records, owner's literature, and the stock parts mentioned. Clean, lien-free NJ title in hand. Located in north Jersey, near NYC. Let me know if you have any questions or would like to come check it out. Happy to show the car over FaceTime if you're not local. Thanks!
