WANTED: E60 550i

The one that got away.

A little over a decade ago, I found and purchased a mint example of my absolute dream car at the time: a well-maintained, low-mileage 2008 BMW 550i in Alpinweiss with the 6MT (pics included). She was smooth, fast, and everything I ever wanted in a car.

After several years of miles and smiles, including 2 cross country trips, and some major life events, I ended up in moving from Colorado to California.

At that point, I was approaching the 100K mileage mark and I didn’t have a lot of extra cash for maintenance or the V8’s appetite for fuel. Sadly, ended up being forced to sell her.

All these years later, I still miss this car, and really want to find a well-maintained example to purchase to help fill the E60-shaped hole in my life that this car left behind.
