With just days to go before its official debut, the BMW M235i made a public appearance fully uncovered, apparently leaked from a dealer introduction. The top of the line model will be the BMW M235i, an M Performance Automobile similar to the BMW M135i.
Under the hood the high-end BMW M235i boasts a 3.0 liter six-cylinder N55 TwinPower engine which also outputs 331 foot-pounds of torque between 1300 and 4500 rpm. Top speed is limited to 155 mph.
The BMW M235i with manual transmission runs 0-60 mph in 5.0 seconds while the 8-speed automatic takes 4.8 seconds. The M235i has a length of 175 inches, measures 69 inches in width and 55 in height. The wheelbase is 105 inches, and it weighs 3201 lbs with the manual transmission and 3234lbs with the automatic.—Paul Duchene
