Dane Cameron joins Turner for the season

Turner Motorsport has confirmed its car and driver lineup for the 2014 racing season.

Turner’s Tudor United SportsCar Championship GTD class Z4 GT3 will be driven for the season by team regular Paul Dalla Lana and Dane Cameron, who raced a Riley-BMW for Team Sahlen in the Grand-Am series in 2013. At this weekend’s Roar Before the Rolex 24 Dalla Lana and Cameron will be joined by BMW factory DTM driver Augusto Farfus and Belgian racer Markus Palltala, who raced a Marc VDS Z4 in the Blancpain Endurance Series in Europe last season. (Jens Klingmann, who was listed as a fifth driver when the Roar entry list was first released, is no longer shown on the team’s test days roster).

Turner will return to the Continental Tire Sports Car Championship with two M3s, including a car for Michael Marsal and Tom Kimber-Smith and another for Bill Auberlen and Paul Dalla Lana. Kimber-Smith, who drove for Turner at the Lime Rome finale in September, joins long-time Turner racers Auberlen, Dalla Lana, and Marsal for the entire 2014 season.
