The last time U.S. Olympic athletes came home with a medal in the men’s two-person bobsled event was 1952—until now. Driving a bobsled designed by BMW Group DesignworksUSA, the American team of Steven Holcomb and Steve Langton have won the bronze medal at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games.
The results were even better in the women’s event. Elana Meyers and Lauryn Williams won the silver medal, while teammates Jamie Greubel and Aja Evans earned bronze.
