Video: Alpina CEO Andy Bovensiepen Makes Guest Appearance

Alpina CEO, Andreas “Andy” Bovensiepen was on hand throughout the week of Oktoberfest. He flew both his B6 race car and B3 GT street car to Monterey just to give charity rides around Laguna Seca to benefit the BMW CCA Foundation. Bovensiepen gave some unforgettable tire-squealing rides around the track, to the delight of those lucky enough to buy a slot early in the day, as each session sold out in a matter of hours.

 

Bovensiepen was also the guest speaker at Friday-night's awards banquet, sponsored by BMW NA. Tom Plucinsky of BMW of North America conducted an interview with him in front of a crowd of 500-plus members during dinner. Bovensiepen provided insight into how the Alpina logo came about, and how he got his start in motorsports. We can't thank Andy, Alpina, and BMW NA enough for their support of this year's event!
