Tire Rack Street Survival

October 21, 2023
or 15 years Tireack Street Survival has been teaching teens to safely drive under adverse conditions not covered in standard Driver's Ed programs. A one-day course designed to teach teen drivers effective car control techniques in a safe environment. Students accompanied by an instructor drive their own cars (including everything, from 911's to pickups and family vans) in a variety of exercises, including emergency braking and lane change, figure-8, slalom, and a low-speed autocross-like course linking all the skills together. Students get to explore the limits of their vehicles and themselves, and come away from the experience as more confident and skilled drivers. When your teen driver attends a Street Survival school, we teach them to control your car in unpredictable situations based on its handling limits. They master the application of driving physics using their car. They learn how to make good driving decisions and react more quickly. They become more aware and learn how to begin anticipating the actions of other drivers. Educate your teen and ensure they get started on a lifetime of safe driving, and will have fun learning! This is a hands-on full day program where students are coached and mentored by exprienced GVC instructors.
