X Drives America with Houston Chapter's Street Survival

October 19, 2024
Chapter:
Join our friends at the Houston Chapter for this X Drives America stop where we teach new drivers critical skills to be safe on the road. It's about more than driving - it's about LIVING! The primary emphasis of the Tire Rack Street Survival® is a "hands-on" driving experience in real-world situations! We use your own car to teach you about its handling limits and how you can control them. The students will become more observant of the traffic situation they find themselves in. They will learn to look far enough ahead to anticipate unwise actions of other drivers. As the students master the application of physics to drive their cars, they will make fewer unwise driving actions themselves. They will understand why they should always wear their own seatbelts, and why they should insist that their passengers wear seatbelts, too. Three parents, including Scott Goodyear, former Indy Car Champion, share their perspectives in this video. Back by Popular Demand — Teen Street Survival on October 19th! You spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars teaching your kids to play music and sports. Why not invest just $125 and 1 day to teach them driving skills that will keep them alive to enjoy all those other events and activities that life has to offer. Not your typical Drivers Ed, Street Survival will teach your young drivers what to do when bad stuff happens out on the road so they don’t panic but instead maintain or regain control of the car. It’s a very small investment for such a huge potential return. Only 30 spaces available so check those calendars and sign up early.
