Friday, May 2, was a very busy day, with two groups touring the new BMW CCA Foundation offices. On Friday morning, Southeast Sharkfest participants stopped by the offices on their way to the Performance Center. Then, in the afternoon, the Schuh Syndikat—the Z3 M Coupe group—paid a visit. Both groups were amazed by our collection and the vision for the Foundation's Library, Archive, and Museum. As a special treat, BMW lent us the last Z3 M coupe produced at the plant in Greer.

Both groups enjoyed this very special coupe and its history of U.S. production. Additionally, many thanks go out to Brett Baker for lending us his pristine M6 and to Marcus Schall for lending us his beautiful Z3 M coupe for display in the museum.

Besides these two groups, the Foundation hosted a visit by several BMW CCA Board Members and BMW CCA Chapter leaders that were in town for a meeting. This was a great opportunity for the leadership of the CCA to view the progress we have made on our new facility and to browse some of the cool pieces of memorabilia in the Foundation's collection.
