BMW News

You can now configure the new BMW X5 M and X6 M on www.BMWUSA.com. The configurator is fairly light on options right now as there are only two option packages available and a few additional stand-alone options. The X5 M and X6 M share the exact same options, the image below shows all the available options:

The X5 M starts at $98,700 MSRP and the X6 M at $102,100, including $950 Destination and Handling. Fully optioned the X5 M will run you $117,650 and the X6 M will set you back $121,050.

The new BMW X5 M and new BMW X6 M combine the characteristic features of the successful BMW X family—exclusivity, robustness, agility, and everyday usability—with the commitment to high performance that defines an M vehicle. The new M TwinPower Turbo V8 for the BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M is the most powerful engine ever developed by BMW for an all-wheel-drive vehicle. The 4.4-liter V8 produces maximum output of 567 horsepower between 6,000 and 6,500 rpm and 553 pound-feet of torque between 2,200 and 5,000 rpm. Both models complete the sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 4.0 seconds in conjunction with the new eight-speed M Steptronic transmission.

We love the two new colors of Long Beach Blue Metallic and Donington Grey Metallic, and with the new styling and performance of these new M models, we can't wait to get behind the wheel! Head on over to the BMW USA website to configure yours.—Nate Risch
