    BMW Sports Trophy Team Marc VDS returned to ELMS competition for the first time in four years and scored a class win in the series’ four hour season finale on the Estoril circuit in Portugal. Bas Leinders, Markus Palttala, and Henry Hassid won the GTC class in the team’s Z4 GT3.

    Sportscar365.com reports that Marc VDS is considering the ELMS as one option for its 2015 endurance racing program. The team ran its Z4s in the 24 hour races at the Nürburgring and Spa in 2014, crashing out at the Ring but scoring a second place finish in its home race at Spa.—Brian S. Morgan
