    A few weeks ago, we were invited out to the The Thermal Club for a BMW M track day with BMW USA (see today's opening column). It was a beautiful day in the Palm Springs desert as we got to see the new home of the BMW Performance Center West. The day consisted of some great driving events which included a drag race with M5s and M6s, an autocross in M3s, and lead-follow hot laps on the South Palm Circuit in M3s and M4s.
