2023 Can-Am Challenge Club Race at Mid-Ohio

This year we’re continuing the cross-border competition with the BMW Club Racing Canadian American Challenge. The Can-Am Challenge is a homage to the historic Can-Am series that spanned the Canadian and United States border from 1966-1974. Our Can-Am Challenge is being run at three historic tracks, the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, August 4-6, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, August 18-20, and Watkins Glen International, September 22-24. A team-based points scheme will determine the winner, and the glorious Can-Am trophy will be presented for the country that wins the challenge! This trophy will again be “up for grabs” in the 2024 season and beyond. The Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course opened in 1963 as a 15-turn, 2.400 mi (3.862 km) road circuit run clockwise. It has hosted a number of racing series such as IndyCar, IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship, and the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
