Bluebonnet Drive

Earmark your calendars for Saturday, April 5th. Our 2025 Bluebonnet drive is on!! We will meet at the Buc-ee’s, 40900 US Hwy 290 Waller, TX 77484. Please be there in time for driver’s meeting at 8:30, make sure your gas tank is full and you’ve had your coffee! The first group out will leave at 9am. Details of the route and lunch are still in the planning stages so stay tuned. We will send out the actual route files (*.gpx, *.gdb and *.kml ) and jpeg maps on Thursday evening to all participants who have registered. Bring your GMRS radios if you have one, tuned to channel 20.3. If you don’t have a radio we have some we can lend out. Be advised that we may change the date as Spring-2025 approaches to maximize our chances of seeing peak bluebonnet season.
