BimmerWorld has announced the drivers for the two F30s it will run in the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge Street Tuner class in 2015.

BimmerWorld proprietor James Clay will return to drive the #84 F30 along with his 2014 co-driver Jason Briedis. The duo had a good season in 2014 while developing the car, finishing fifth at Watkins Glen and sixth at Road America.

The team’s second F30 will be shared by Tyler Cooke, who drove a BimmerWorld E90 328i in 2013 and 2014, and newcomer Andrie Hartanto, who comes to the team from regional touring car racing. Cooke and his teammate Greg Liefooghe finished third in Street Tuner drivers’ points in 2013 and fifth in 2014.

Clay said, "This is gearing up to be the year of BMW turbo power! We have over a year in the development of this car and a new engine partner onboard for 2015 that has smoothed out some of our issues, and I am very much looking forward to displaying the potential of this new BMW platform."
