BMW USA Motorsport has released a trailer on their YouTube channel for what looks like a documentary of their historic 1975 racing season. It's titled Go Like Schnell, and it will be released this summer.
BMW of North America raced the 3.0 CSL in the 1975 IMSA Camel GT Series in Group 4. The CSL enjoyed considerable success winning at Sebring, Riverside, Laguna Seca, Daytona and Talladega with several iconic drivers behind the wheel including: Brian Redman, Hans Stuck, Sam Posey, Ronnie Peterson, Dieter Quester, Benny Parsons, Peter Gregg and David Hobbs.
With the release of Adrenalin: The BMW Touring Car Story, the 3.0 CSL throwback liveries on the current Z4 GTE race cars, and now GO LIKE SCHNELL, it has definitely become the year of the throwback for BMW Motorsport.—Nate Risch
