BMW NA blew us away during the 46th annual BMW CCA Oktoberfest, offering rides in three of their E92 M3 GT race cars and the iconic 3.0CSL.
Bill Auberlen, Tom Plucinsky, and Mike Renner were on hand to drive the M3s while Brian Redman was behind the wheel of his old friend, the CSL. They tore up the track during the lunch hour at the New Jersey Motorsport Park Track with 54 generous and lucky shotgun riders!
The BMW CCA Foundation would like to thank BMW NA for this incredible opportunity for our supporters to ride in these iconic cars with such accomplished drivers and for allowing the Foundation to keep the proceeds, which totaled $11,500!
In addition to BMW NA, we would like to thank Tom Plucinsky from BMW NA, Mike Renner from the BMW Performance Center, Bill Auberlen from BMW Team RLL Racing, Brian Redman a legendary driver who needs no introduction, and the guys that transport and maintain the cars from BMW Team RLL – Brandon Dickson, Jim Weaver, Mark Bruce, and Roger Edwards. We also want to thank the NJ Chapter volunteer staff, corner workers and volunteers assisting with ticket sales each day.
Thank you for supporting the BMW CCA Foundation and our commitment to preserve the history of BMW and to save lives through our Street Survival® teen safe driving program.
