Autosport.com reports that BMW will loan Bill Auberlen to Aston Martin for Le Mans. Auberlen will co-drive an Aston Martin Vantage GTE with his Grand-Am co-driver Paul Dalla Lana and Pedro Lamy. Dalla Lana is running the full World Endurance Championship with Aston Martin while maintaining his Grand-Am ride with Turner Motorsport.
Autosport.com quotes Auberlen as saying "It's excellent news that I'm going back to Le Mans, even more so that I'm doing it in such a competitive car. It will also be good preparation in case BMW goes back to Le Mans. It's got to be good for our program, too."

This weekend Auberlen is racing a BMW Team RLL Z4 at Long Beach, while Dalla Lana is racing the Turner Motorsport Rolex Series and Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge series M3s at Road Atlanta.—Brian S. Morgan
