September 12 registration deadline for Saturday 9/17 event
On Saturday, September 17, BMW fans at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca will get to meet and greet the BMW Team Rahal Letterman Lanigan members as they near the end of the 2011 racing season. We’ll have an up-close-and-personal tech session with autograph time at the BMW Team RLL pit area on race day—and Dunlop Tires will raffle off a set of tires to one lucky winner at the corral!
The six-hour ALMS race into the darkness on Saturday will be especially exciting to watch from our usual corral location near Turn Five. After all, it’s pretty much a home track for Californians Joey Hand and Bill Auberlen! We’ll see if the BMW M3 GT drivers can wrap up the team championship again—and this year, Joey hand and his co-driver, Dirk Müller, have a darn goot shot at the drivers’ championship as well!
Don’t forget a warm coat, as Monterey tends to get a bit chilly when the sun goes down. You’ll want to arrive early and stay late on Saturday evening, cheering the BMWs into the Winner’s Circle!
