BMW Team Schubert Z4 GT3 Wins At Nürburgring

A BMW Team Schubert Z4 GT3 won the four-hour VLN race on the Nürburgring Nordschleife in April . Dirk Müller, Jörg Müller, and Augusto Farfus drove the winning car. Another Schubert Z4 piloted by Claudia Hürtgen, Jens Klingmann, and Martin Tomczyk finished third; a Porsche 911 GT3 finished between the two BMWs.

The race, which drew over 200 entrants, was the VLN season-opener. The late-March race that had been scheduled to be the first of the season was canceled because of snow on the track.—Brian S. Morgan
