Burton Racing, winner of the 2013 Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Street Tuner championship, will be back to defend its title in 2014 with a 128i for returning driver champions Terry Borcheller and Mike LaMarra and another for Greg Strelzoff and Connor Bloum, who drove a 328i for BimmerWorld in 2013.
Strelzoff and Bloum scored three podium finishes in 2013 in the BimmerWorld car, including a second at Road Atlanta and a pair of thirds at Road America and Lime Rock.
Team owner Keith Burton said, “When I started this team, I focused on having the right people in the right place to build a championship-winning organization. So it was very gratifying to have the results that we did last year. But now, we have a new challenge to come back as champions and deliver that same kind of performance."
“We are very excited about that challenge. Having Connor and Greg join us this year and Mike and Terry coming back again is a great opportunity for everyone involved.”
