Incumbent South Central RVP Dan Baker re-elected by a margin of 32 votes

When voting closed on Friday, February 21, incumbent South Central Region Vice-President Dan Baker had 156 votes, while Tim Jones of the Rocky Mountain Chapter had 124.

Darlene Doran elected Secretary by a margin of 493 votes

Rocky Mountain Chapter member Darlene Doran received 1,164 votes, while incumbent Darcy Yench of the Badger Bimmers Chapter had 671.

Steve Johnson Retains Executive Vice-President Position

Current Executive Vice-President Steve Johnson of San Diego, California, ran unopposed this year and retains his current position for another three-year term. In accordance with Article 5, Section 7 of the BMW Car Club of America by-laws, ballots were not submitted for the position of Executive Vice-President, as the position was unopposed.

The Club would like to thank all of our candidates for their dedication and spirit of volunteerism, and also congratulate the winners. Without our volunteer leadership, we would not be the Club we are today!

*Article 5. Elections

Section 7. In those elections where there is only one candidate for each and every office covered by the election, the Board of Directors need not follow the provisions of Section 4 above. In such case the Board of Directors shall announce the names of the candidates running for office without opposition in Roundel; voting need not be required. The Board of Directors shall ratify the election of the candidates at the annual meeting.
