I think "well done" would be fine, and I'll follow Mark Twain's advice: If you're going to eat a frog, do it early in the day.

So there really were micro-Minis at the Olympic games retrieving discuses (or disci), shots, javelins, and hammers. Who knew?

Well, not me, anyway. I thought it was a silly idea—and I said so. Still, the proof is in the pudding, and here it is. Finally, about four days after the story "leaked," there's a little video. I have to say, if I'd been promoting the program, I'd have had video to beat the band all over before the story leaked out.

I was right to be suspicious: Given Mini's history, something that sounds too good to be true, very probably is. Watch what they put out on April Fool's Day.

Anyway, here's the (very brief) video of the little buggers at work. I wonder who runs them? I'd be interested to know that. Is it pre-training for go-karts? When you're six you do this, eight, you're  into go-karts, then F3, F2, and finally F1?  Or do you just run CIA drones at that point?––Paul Duchene
