    We've seen countless spy photos of the BMW i8 hybrid sports car in all its guises so far, but here it is in action at the Nurburgring, where BMW took it last week.

    The i8 is expected to boast 354 hp, 0-62 mph in about 4.6 seconds, top speed of 155 mph, up to 47 mpg average fuel consumption, with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine (in rear) and 128hp electric motor (in front). Never mind the words, watch the action. ––Paul Duchene
