Are you in need of a little blue-and-white immersion therapy? Then pack your bags and head to the sunny south for BMW CCA's Oktoberfest 2011! This year we're staking claim to Birmingham, Alabama, and Barber Motorsports Park. BMW CCA members from all over the country will converge on Birmingham on October 10–16 for fun, friendship, and a week of excitement. UPDATE: Rooms have become available at the Host Hotel, Renaissance Ross Bridge Resort & Spa. Call Toll-free: 800 593-6419 Code: BMWA

Monday kicks off with the Spaten Welcome Party—hey, it's the Official Beer of Oktoberfest!—where you can meet your competition for Tuesday's SONAX Concours d'Elegance. The good times don't end there, though, because Spaten will provide hospitality throughout the week.

On Wednesday, get ready to hit the accelerator! From that point forward, it's all about driving: five days of driving schools at Barber Motorsports Park. UPDATE: ADDITIONAL SPOTS ARE NOW AVAILABLE! E-mail Linda at laxelson@bmwcca.org for more information. Wednesday also features the Odometer Gears TSD Rally, which will take you in and around the Alabama countryside and end at the Talladega Museum.

You'll also want to challenge yourself at the Michelin Gymkhana. The theme this year is the Great State of Alabama and its numerous outdoor sports—remember the college football rivalry between Alabama and Auburn?—a 26-hole Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, world-class Bass Fishing at Lake Guntersville, and top-notch motorsport facilities at Talladega and Barber.

And that's not all!

  • The Michelin Drive and Compare session will allow you to do a competitive exercise with the Michelin Pilot Super Sport.
  • Try your luck at the Liberty Mutual Casino Night!
  • You won't want to miss the IHG/Crowne Plaza Hotels Barber Museum Reception!
  • The Bridgestone Autocross—can you do the cone dance?!—will be held at the Birmingham Barons AAA Ball Park.
  • Watch BMW CCA Club Racing at its best!

Not a track junkie? Still want to drive? Then be sure to check test drives in the greatest Munich has to offer, courtesy of BMW North Americ —or catch a ride around one of the most beautiful race tracks in North America with Bill Auberlen and the crew from the BMW Performance Center!
