Apparently the Z4 hardtop roadster is not quite cool enough for the truly hip-and-with-it crowd. Now comes LSD Doors, an oddly-named subsidiary of KW automotive GmbH. They build hinges designed to make your car doors open upward—you know, like a Lamborghini (hence the moniker “Lambo doors”).
The fittings, says the press release, are equipped with the new Guided Roller System (GRS), which provides an adjustable roller guide for more safety and precision when opening and closing the door. LSD door fittings come with a TÜV parts certificate, which confirms that the LSD wing doors meet all safety regulations.
