The BMW Car Club of America is proud to announce the first-ever Women-Only Two-Day M School from Saturday, April 12 to Monday, April 14, 2014. This trip consists of two parts: participating in the full curriculum of the two-day M School program at the BMW Performance Center, and then pampering yourself at the luxurious Chateau Elan Resort & Spa. This trip is perfect for the woman who enjoys performance driving in stylish BMW M cars—and then relaxing at a beautiful spa with fellow BMW women!
Arriving on Thursday, you can stroll the charming shops of Greenville’s Main Street or take in the beauty of the Liberty Bridge over the Reedy River, whose waterfalls once provided the water power for the textile mills of Greenville’s historic past—and now provide a respite from the stresses of life!
On Saturday, you will begin the Two Day M School program at the BMW Performance Center, which encompasses the full curriculum offered by BMW through its own professional instructors. You will drive the Center’s own M cars, such as the stylish Competition Package M3, the F10 M5, and the new F12 M6. You will enjoy maximum track time as there is no driver sharing in this Two Day M School.
On the first day, the instructors will emphasize developing elementary high-performance driving capabilities by demanding precision and skills refinement. The slalom, handling track, wet skid pad, open roads, and timed runs course will challenge even the best driver to master the horses of these M cars. Day Two raises the stakes and teaches advanced driving techniques like trail-braking and demanding cornering transitions. Participants will don their helmet s to ensure safety in all of these exercises as we utilize the full purpose built facility of the Performance Center.
After our driving course, we will “borrow” their luxury BMW’s, such as the 550i and 750iL for a drive to the luxurious Chateau Elan Resort & Spa in Braselton, Georgia. You will be pampered with an elegant group Dinner at the Chateau Vineyards Restaurant.
On Monday, you will be treated to either a deluxe (50) minute Chateau Essential Massage or Facial as part of your Package. You may also choose to complement your stay with a pedicure, manicure, wrap, or other treatment at your own expense. We will all enjoy a Spa Luncheon before departing back to Greenville.
We will bring you back to the GSP (Greenville-Spartanburg) Airport on Monday for departures, or you may enjoy another hotel night stay at the Marriott for an additional fee and fly out on Tuesday, April 15.
