The plans for Oktoberfest are coming together, and we’re less than 7 weeks away from the big celebration at the Jersey Shore!
There are many things that will make Oktoberfest 2015 a memorable experience including the charm of the Stockton Seaview Resort and two very entertaining road courses at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Not to mention, there are countless events that will keep you busy all week including the Pirelli Concours d'Elegance, Atturo Tire Fun Rally, Odometer Gears TSD Rally, Bridgestone Autocross, BC Tire/Hankook Gymkhana, BMW CCA Foundation Golf Tournmanet, Parties, Spaten Biergarten, and much more!
When you add in the fact that BMW North America is celebrating its 40th anniversary and Oktoberfest is being held in their home state, you have even more reasons than usual to join in the fun. We’re really excited that some of the notable historic race cars of the last forty years will be on hand, and you’ll even get a chance to ride in them with Brian Redman or Bill Auberlen behind the wheel!
For those of you who aren’t familiar with the area, September can be a particularly pleasant time of year at the shore and is a favorite for many locals. The ocean water is still warm and the air temperature is usually pleasant and not too hot. In addition, the summer crowds have packed up and returned to real life, so there’s a laid back pace that has marvelous restorative qualities.
For our members who can’t spend the whole week, there will be lots to do on the weekend, too! We have club races and driver schools all weekend, so this is your chance to share in the fun!
