Maxime Martin and Marco Wittmann finish in DTM points at the Lausitzring

Maxime Martin in the #36 BMW Team RBM M4 DTM finished fourth in the Saturday DTM Race at the Lausitzring in Germany. Martin finished eighth and Team RMG’s Marco Wittmann finished ninth in Sunday’s race.

Martin was the only BMW racer to score points in the Saturday race, won by Lucas Auer in a Mercedes. BMW’s Tom Blomqvist started second on the grid on Sunday, but received a five-second penalty for jumping the start that took him out of the points. The win on Sunday went to Audi racer Jamie Green.

The series runs again in Budapest on June 16-18.—Brian S. Morgan
