The Michelin Drive and Compare event has become a staple of the annual BMW CCA Oktoberfest events, and each year offers O'Fest participants the opportunity to explore the capabilities of various Michelin tires. This year, participants drove two vehicles with two very different tires—a luxury sport sedan fitted with budget tires, and a mundane family sedan fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 3 tires. Anyone who drove the pair could feel the difference; despite its pretenses, the sport sedan was limited by its tires, while the seemingly more mundane car was transformed into a grippier and more responsive vehicle.—David Rose
