With GoPro announcing their new Hero 4 today, Road & Track shows you how to mount your camera to get the best car shots at your next autocross, canyon cruise, or HPDE! And don't forget, you can control them with your BMW's iDrive with the new GoPro app!
Some of the key locations they point out are ones that people don't ever think about that provide you with angles that will seperate you from the crowd. My favorites are the steering column mount and the front fender where you can see the wheel. This is a really good angle when there are lots of turns or some drifting!
Read all about how they recommend mounting your camera on and in your car on the Road & Track website.
And to help you keep your focus on the road, use the BMW iDrive app to easily control your cameras. You can read all about the app in our previous article here on BMW CCA News.
If you don't have an action camera yet, GoPro has announced the new Hero 4 and Hero cameras today starting at $129 which will be available October 5th. You can read all about the new cameras on the GoPro website, but what really sells a camera is the picture quality that it is able to produce, and the new GoPros are second to none. See for yourself:
