West Surrey Racing/BMW lead team and manufacturers points
Colin Turkington won Race Two of the British Touring Car Championship event at Croft in the #04 West Surrey Racing 125i M Sport. Turkington and his teammates, Rob Collard and Andrew Jordan, finished in the points in all three races.
In race one Turkington was second to Subaru racer Ash Sutton; Collard was fourth and Jordan was sixth. In race two, which Turkington won, Collard was third and Jordan was fifth. And in race three, won by Mat Jackson in a Ford Focus, Turkington was sixth, Jordan was seventh, and Collard was eighth.
Going into the July 29-30 event at Snetterton West Surrey Racing/BMW lead team and manufacturers’ points and Collard is second to Honda racer Gordon Shedden.—Brian S. Morgan
