The BMW i8 plug-in sports car has been in customers’ hands now for about a year and a half, and it’s still the coolest-looking car on the road. At least, we think so. Automotive journalists and bloggers have deposited countless reviews and test drives on YouTube, to the extant that we thought there were no more worthwhile i8 videos left to watch.
Then we noticed an i8 review by BMW racing driver Boris Said, whom we have known for years to be a down-to-earth, easy-to-talk-to car guy and friend of the Club. In addition to his still-active racing career, Boris owns BMW of Murrieta in California. This video serves as an advertisement for his dealership, but that’s beside the point. Even though there are no clips of Boris driving the i8 down the road, that’s okay. Just listening to Boris talk about the i8 was good enough for us.
