Well, not this year.
Since it happened 27 years ago, we can’t call it news, so we’re tossing this video out there just for fun—and by fun, we mean fun to watch.
We normally don’t think of BMWs as being world-class rally cars, and the E30 M3—as we all know—doesn’t belong on a rally stage; it belongs on a race track.
Don’t tell that to Patrick Snijers, the Belgian rally driver who gave BMW a huge win in the 1988 Rally Manx on the Isle of Man. It was the only time BMW won the Manx/Isle of Man rally, although a Mini Cooper won it three times during its glory rally days of the 1960s.
