Some idea are so cool, you just wish you'd had them first. Hats off to Access Agency for this latest fun variation on the Mini theme, inflatable Mini Cooper convertibles. Naturally intended to be made in primary colors, they do seem a great addition to any pool, or maybe the Copacabana beach in Rio.
These are just in planning stages so far —the idea is being floated, if you like — so you're looking at photoshop images, but it's hard to see how this won't be a hit, if the price doesn't put potential buyers underwater. Now all it needs is one of those half-Mini trailers as a cooler for lunch and libations. Some of the pictures on the Autoblog site suggest the agency is thinking of ocean use, which raises the question of paddle wheels — front-wheel drive of course. —Paul Duchene
