BMW factory driver Tom Blomqvist, who races in DTM, will occupy the second seat on the Andretti Formula E team alongside António Félix da Costa. Blomqvist replaces Robin Frijns.
It is anticipated that Blomqvist will continue in DTM. Both autosport.com and e-racing365.com report that Alexander Sims, who participated in recent Formula E tests along with Blomqvist and Félix da Costa, may drive the Andretti Formula E car when Blomqvist has conflicts with DTM.
BMW Motorsport continues its partnership with the Andretti team; it will become a BMW factory team in season five, when BMW will provide the drivetrain for the cars. Season four begins on December 2 in Hong Kong.—Brian S. Morgan
