The French driver will partner Dani Sordo on the season opener after the shock announcement that Kris Meeke will miss the Monte and is only likely to take part in selected rallies during the year ahead.
Campana took part in two WRC events last season in a Mini John Cooper Works run by the Drive-Pro team and he said he was honored to get the chance to drive for the factory team as a result.
“I am thrilled to have been selected by Mini to join their squad for Monte-Carlo,” he said. “It is a rally I know well and enjoy. I won the 2WD class last year, so I am pleased to bring my experience and to showcase my abilities on such a competitive event. "––Paul Duchene
