Club Members Experience Thrill Of Two-Day M School

While car-show fans were gathered at the Zentrum, fifteen members from six different BMW CCA chapters experienced the thrill of the Club’s exclusive Two-Day M School at the BMW Performance Center. Members drove the daylights out of the Center’s M cars—the 1 Series M coupe, the Competition Package M3, and brand-new 560-horsepower M5—while participating in the full two-day curriculum. 

 

Although this was the first M School for several members, they quickly developed the need for speed! But four members from the Allegheny and New Jersey chapters were repeat customers of the center; they had returned to celebrate their nephew’s upcoming wedding! Drivers from the Roadrunner, Michiana, Rocky Mountain, and Sunshine Chapters also enjoyed the school. By the end of the second day, all fifteen members were lapping the full course of the Center’s 1.7 mile course.

 

 

We are excited to announce the Performance Center will be offering seven member-only programs in 2013. We are working hard to finalize the dates, but the tentative plan is to offer the following programs: Valentine’s Day Couples’ Trip (February 2013); Couples’ Trip (March); Ladies’ Driving & Spa Getaway (April); and four Two-Day M Schools (March, April, June, and July).
