More information about the new Z4 GTE has been posted in the days since the introduction of the car earlier this week at Daytona International Speedway.
We know that aerodynamics have been changed substantially from those on the Z4 GT3 that has been racing in Europe and that the ALMS air restrictor makes the new car's intake system different from that on the GT3’s V8. We know that BMW Team RLL has worked closely with BMW Motorsport throughout the development of the car, that the first tests of the car were run by Dirk Müller and Jörg Müller in Spain in January, and that a test in advance of the 12 Hours of Sebring will be run on the Sebring circuit next week.
