Six ladies from chapters coast-to-coast participated in last weekend’s Ladies‘ Driving & Spa Getaway trip. This special members-only program combined a one-day car-control school at the BMW Performance Center, with two nights of relaxation at the Grove Park Inn & Spa in Asheville, North Carolina. Members included Ramona Santiago-Davis from the Sunbelt Chapter, Anna Maripuu from the National Capital Chapter, Eva Kwong from the Central Cal Chapter, Stephanie Christensen from the Oregon Chapter, and Kim Noll and Jackie Bechek from the Sandlapper Chapter.

On Friday, BMW Performance Center instructors, Mike Renner and Erin Evernham, conducted a full-day car-control program for the ladies simulating real-world driving conditions, such as emergency braking, black-ice skids, and car handling to challenge the ladies’ skills. Also, during the performance drive, they sampled the handling of the Z4is; X6M; and brand-new M6 which everyone loved!  After class, the Performance Center brought out their luxurious 750Li’s for the group of ladies to drive up to the Grove Park Inn & Spa in Asheville, North Carolina.

On Saturday, each guest enjoyed an 80-minute massage at the Grove Park Spa, and the group enjoyed a delicious dinner at Limones Restaurant in downtown Asheville on Saturday night. On Sunday, the group drove their stylish 750Li’s, through the twisty mountain roads, taking in the beautiful vistas of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Everyone enjoyed a perfect weekend savouring the fun and relaxation of the BMW lifestyle!
