We have extended the entry deadline until Tuesday, February 3. So, get those finishing touches on that design and get it submitted! You could win $500 cash and possibly see your badge put into production.

Design the next iconic piece of club history!

Do you have a great idea for a grille badge? If so, you could win $500 cash and your work could be seen on kidney grilles from coast-to-coast. From now until February 3, we will be accepting entries for our first-ever grille badge design contest. We are looking for designs that will look great on everything from two double oh-two roundies to the latest productions from the masterful wizards at the M brand.

If you've got a timeless design that can span the decades then you might just write your ticket to club fame as the guy who designed the best grille badge ever! Ready to unleash the Photoshop magic? Well, there are a few ground rules we need to go over first.

1. Design must be no larger than 3 inches in diameter and easily reproduced using a metal stamping process.
2. Separate patterns or colors must be separated by a metal border.
3. Spot colors only. Limit 4.
4. Can be any shape, but the simpler the better, as intricate designs are more difficult to manufacture.
5. Must have BMW CCA written on it.
6. Must not infringe on any existing trademarks, patents, or include a BMW Roundel.
7. Design must look ridiculously awesome.
8. You must be a current member in good standing.
9. Entry deadline is February 3, 2015 at 11:59 pm EST. Entries must be submitted to grillebadges@bmwcca.org. Please limit file size to 5MB or less.

Update: You can download an editable vector PDF of the traditional map logo grille badge here. You do not have to use the traditional map outline shape for your design. We actually encourage you to come up with a new shape! The more creative, the better!  Also, we already have a carbon fiber grille badge design in the works, so please avoid use of carbon fiber in contest submissions.

Entries will be narrowed down to five finalists by the National Office staff. Those five designs will be posted to bmwcca.org and voted on by members over the span of a week following the submission deadline. The winner will be officially announced in Roundel Weekly and forever be immortalized in CCA grille badge history.

Good Luck!—Chris Hennecy

Pleae note: The winning badge is not guaranteed a production run, but will be considered for production. What is guaranteed is a $500 check to the winner!
